Vinyl Silane: Guide
Vinyl silane is a base-functional silane coupling agent that improves adhesion to a wide range of organic polymers.
Applications
Vinyl silane can be used to improve adhesion between various organic polymers and inorganic materials such as silica, silicates and glass fibers.
Can be used as a surface modifier to improve the mechanical and electrical properties of cross-linked polyethylene or EPDM filled with inorganic fillers.
Can be used in high temperature applications to improve silicone rubber adhesion to polyester or glass surfaces.
Can be used to copolymerize with other vinyl monomers in coating polymers or emulsions. Can also be used to graft waterborne and solventborne coatings…..
