Polyester modified silicone resin has good high temperature performance and water and moisture repellency as well as good electrical insulation properties, corona resistance, weathering resistance and chemical stability. The product has high hardness, high gloss, good fullness, and high yellowing resistance after full curing (up to 5H or more).

Resin properties and uses:

This product has good high temperature performance and water repellent and moisture resistant performance and good electrical insulation properties, arc corona resistance performance,weather resistance and chemical stability. This product has high hardness, high gloss, good fullness, high anti-yellowing performance after fully cured (more than 3H).

R-3038A widely use as high temperature resistant coating, recommended for electric rice cooker, oven, baking bread machine, electric iron, range hood, gas stove and other household electrical appliances, such as temperature resistant non-stick coating and special coating of basic resin.

Curing method

This product uses the high temperature curing, 250℃ for 20 min; 270℃ for 15 min; 280℃ for 10 min.

Attentions

a.The diluted solvent used for this product shall not contain water, pyridine and impurities containing sulfur compounds, otherwise it will affect the adhesion, dry and other properties of the resin paint film.。

b.This product in the processing process, there will be a large number of xylene and other flammable and explosive, toxic solvents volatile out, should pay attention to strengthen the field of ventilation, pay attention to fire, strictly avoid the fire source. Operator should pay attention to labor protection.

c.This product is used in the process of processing equipment, containers must be clean. To prevent dust and foreign bodies and mixed with water.

d.Acid, alkali, salt of organic acid and amine compounds have accelerated curing effect on this product, and affects heat resistance and electric properties. Therefore, this product should be kept in strict isolation from these substances.

Storage

The product storage period is tentatively scheduled for half a year. This product should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place, prevent sun direct radiation; prevent the serious pollution of acid, alkali and should be cut off from the source of the fire and away from the heat source.

Resin properties and uses:

Polyester modified silicone resin Risso-3046 has excellent high temperature performance and water repellent and moisture resistant performance and good electrical insulation properties. Its weather resistance and chemical stability is also very good. This product can be dry in room temperature, It’ll have high hardness,good fullness, good gloss and color after complete curing (more than 1H).
R-3046 can widely in 250~500 ℃ high temperature paint and weather resistant coating.

Curing method:

Polyester Modified Silicone Resin : Guide

Polyester modified silicone resin can be widely used in high temperature coatings, anti-fouling coatings, anti-graffiti coatings, kitchen appliances, non-stick coatings, iron coatings, hairpin coatings and special coatings (such as replacement of PVDF, fluorocarbon coatings)), such as the base resin.

Curing mode: The product can be self-drying at room temperature with good dryness; the product is cured at high temperature with better hardness.

The best suggestion is: 220°C, 30 minutes; 250°C, 15 minutes; 280°C 10 minutes. Adding 10~15% (relative to R-3072A) of amino resin can get better performance, but it may cause slight yellowing at high temperature.
