Methyl Silicone Resin Describe
Risso has a variety of methyl silicone resins, of which R1060, R1070, R1080, R1090 are the most commonly used. R1080 silicone resin is a pure methyl solid silicone resin with very high silica content. The other three are in liquid form.

This resin has a highly crosslinked structure. It has high hardness and easy to combine with inorganic after curing . The resin has great heat resistance. combined with the sructure of Si-O bond and Si-C bond, it has a strong adhesion at high temperature.
3. Application：
It can be used as the adhesive to suppress the mica sheet and handle the Refractories.
For other electronics industries, It becomes to cured film at 110-130 ℃ when suitable curing agents added into, the film is transparent and the adhesion can be increased.
4. Usages
It can be formulated with a certain proportion low phenyl methyl silicone resin, with curing agent such as organic lead , organic ammonium, organic tin, etc. It cures after 30 minutes in 110-130 ℃. When the crosslinking agent is added, it is possible to be the cured film at room temperature.
5. Packaging and storage
This product is packaged by iron or plastic drums. Products should be stored in dry, cool and well ventilated places, to prevent it from direct sunlight, rain, cutting off fire source or heat. In this condition, the shelf life is 6 months.
For the transportation, prevent it from sunlight, rain, upside down, and open flame . It should be transported according to the flammable goods .
Risso R1070 is a liquid methyl silicone resin, toluene, xylene as solvent. This product has excellent performance such as high temperature resistance, electrical insulation, moisture-proof and waterproof. It is an ideal adhesive for the manufacture of high-temperature resistant hard mica board and glass fiber cloth laminate, and can also be used as a wear-resistant and polishing agent for marble and floor tiles. This product has more brittle and hard characteristics, high curing degree, and less volatile content during the curing process.

Package and Storage
1. 18/200kg drum.
2. The storage conditions are recommended to be 5~36 °C, store sealed in a cool, dry environment, protected from direct sunlight, and never near heat sources.
The shelf life is half a year (it can still be used if the overdue analysis is qualified).
R 1080 is a pure methyl solid silicone resin with a very high silica content with excellent heat resistance and minimal smoke; High reactivity, strong adhesion performance, high hardness, good scratch resistance.

Application
1.Insulation bonding of laminates.
2. Resistive insulating coatings, providing excellent temperature resistance at the same time, giving excellent stability (no smoke, no cracking) and scratch damage resistance.
Handling precautions
1. Used to prepare the coating or binder with solvent, it is recommended to select toluene or xylene as a solvent, fully dissolve the resin and then paint, the dissolution process can be moderately heated (≤ 60 °C), it is necessary to filter with a 200 mesh filter cloth before use and observe whether the filtrate is clear.
2. Used to prepare resistive insulating coating with powder resin, it is necessary to ensure that the resin and pigment filler are fully mixed and wrapped.

2. The storage conditions are recommended to be 5~36 °C, sealed storage in a cool and dry environment, and the shelf life is generally 12 months from the date of production (it can still be used after the expiration analysis).
Methyl silicone resin R1090

Performance:
R1090 is one kind of silicone resins. It is methyl polysiloxane which is composed of by methyl triethoxy silane afte hydrolysis, polycondensation and preparation. it contains hydrolytic gene, in the presence of a small amount of the catalyst, further into insoluble and infusible thermosetting resin three-dimensional network structure.
R1090 under the action of curing agent, ethoxy in it is easy to hydrolysis and hydroxyl easily condensation. In order to get not easy to peel thin film that coated on the surface of various kinds of plastic, metal, ceramics and other materials, usually only need to add 0.1-0.2% amine curing agent. Under high temperature or 60 ℃ -80 ℃. From few minutes to 1 hour is enough to get the film. So R1090 has low temperature fast curing characteristics.

formed film is very hard and transparent, good insulation properties, high and low temperature resistance, aging resistance, abrasion resistance, water proof and damp proof, high transmittance. So it can be used as transparent surface coating and desiccant for glass, PMMA, gold imitation crafts, metal surface, such as poker, horn paper etc and improving plastic transparency. It also can be used as sealing materials for electrical and electronic components.
It has very important action to be used in solar panels,the foamed film can improve the solar plate hardness, oxidation resistance and improve its light transmittance.

Packaging, transportation and storage etc.
1. Products should be stored in clean, dry and sealed plastic drum (5 kg, 10 kg, 50 kg etc). 2. During transportation, it should prevented rain and sunlight exposure, according to the IMDG #61184 flammable liquid storage and transportation conditions. 3. The product should be stored in ventilated and dry place, storage temperature :-5~+35 ℃. 4. If meets with the 2nd and 3rd clause.The valid is six months after produced. After 6 months, it should be tested again according to the relative standard. To see whether it can be still use or not.
