Vinyltrimethoxysilane Description
Vinyltrimethoxysilane (2768-02-7) is a colorless transparent liquid with an ester odor, soluble in most organic solvents, insoluble in water. The pH is 7, but it is soluble in water at a pH of 3.0 to 3.5.
Vinyltrimethoxysilane is suitable for all complex shapes, all densities of polyethylene and copolymers, for larger processing process tolerance, filled composites, etc.
CAS 2768-02-7 silane has a high service temperature, excellent resistance to pressure cracking, memory, abrasion and impact resistance. Both coupling agent and crosslinking agent, applicable polymer types such as polyethylene, polypropylene, unsaturated polyester, etc., can also be used to improve the affinity between glass fibers, inorganic fillers and resins reactive to vinyl.

Vinyltrimethoxysilane: Guide
Vinyltrimethoxysilane is soluble in ethanol, isopropanol, benzene, toluene and gasoline, insoluble in water; hydrolyzed and soluble in water by mixing with aqueous solution of acid. Slowly hydrolyzed by water vapor in air to produce the corresponding silanol.
Application:
