3-Methacryloxypropyltriethoxysilane is suitable for polyethylene and copolymers of various complex shapes and all densities; it is suitable for large processing tolerance, filled composites, etc., with high service temperature, excellent pressure cracking resistance, abrasion and impact resistance; it can be grafted to the main chain of the polymer so as to modify other polymers, such as polyethylene, so that the side chain carries an ester group with the product, which can serve as the active point of warm water cross-linking.

Usage
  • Used in glass fiber can effectively improve the mechanical properties (bending strength, tensile strength, etc.) of its glass fiber products and the adhesion of the substrate (a variety of resins, including thermosetting and thermoplastic, etc.).
  • Used as additive after ink and coating, it can make ink and coating film have excellent film hardness and brightness; improve the adhesion of fiber optic coating.
  • As reinforcing agent and cross-linking promoter, it is widely used in composite materials, coatings, inks, glues and sealing materials, etc. It can also be used as resin modification additive and enzyme fixing agent.
  • As a crosslinking agent, it can be used in silane crosslinked polyethylene cables and tubes; in the wire and cable industry, the coupling agent is used to treat clay-filled, peroxide-crosslinked EPDM systems, which improves the consumption factor and specific inductance resistance.
  • Copolymerized with vinyl acetate and acrylic or methacrylic monomers, these polymers are widely used in coatings, adhesives and sealants to provide excellent adhesion and durability.
