Aminopropylmethyldimethoxysilane (CAS 3179-76-8) is a colorless to slightly yellow aqueous solution with a slight ammonia odor, soluble in alcohols, aliphatic hydrocarbons or aromatic hydrocarbons. It is an amino-functional silane coupling agent. It is mainly used as an adhesion promoter to improve the adhesion between organic polymers and inorganic substrates.
