Alkyl Silane
Alkyl Silanes are the most commonly used reagents for organic synthesis and contain alkyl groups and silane groups in their molecular structure. Due to their unique chemical and physical properties, alkyl silanes are widely used in organic synthesis, environmental research, organic materials, pharmaceutical research, pesticides, agricultural films and other fields.

Alkyl Silane: Guide
Alkyl Silanes are organosilicides formed by the immobilization of organic groups on silicon atoms. The molecular structure of alkyl silanes is similar to alkyl compounds, but they have unique properties due to the presence of silicon atoms in their molecules.Alkyl silanes are usually colorless, clear liquids that are soluble in common non-polar organic solvents (e.g. petroleum ether, toluene). The medium chain alkyl functional group produces unique compounding properties to incorporate treated minerals or pigments into polymers such as polyethylene or polypropylene.
Alkyl silanes are supplied in standard packaging in 25 kg, 200 kg drums and 1000 kg IBC containers.
