Tetraethoxysilane : Guide

Tetraethoxysilane is mainly used in the manufacture of chemical-resistant coatings, heat-resistant coatings, silicone solvents, and precision casting binders.

Tetraethyl Orthosilicate generates extremely fine silica powder after complete hydrolysis, which can be used to prepare SiO2 and multi-component oxides containing SiO2 components using CVD and Sol-Gel methods.

It is used to synthesize silicone intermediates, refractory adhesives and precision castings, and is used as a cross-linking agent for room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber.

It is used in chemical-resistant coatings and heat-resistant coatings, and its hydrolyzate can be used to produce phosphors.
