3-Ureidopropyltriethoxysilane (CAS 23779-32-0) is a colorless liquid which is a 50% methanol solution of silane with an alcohol-like odor, soluble in alcohols, ketones, esters or aromatic hydrocarbons.

CAS 23779-32-0 silane coupling agent is a difunctional organosilane with a reactive organourea group and a hydrolyzable inorganic triethoxysilyl group. Its reactive dual nature enables it to chemically bind to inorganic materials (e.g., glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g., thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers), thus acting as an adhesion promoter and as a surface modifier. It is a methanol solution of 50% silane, a colorless liquid with an alcohol-like odor, soluble in alcohols, ketones, esters, or aromatic hydrocarbons.
